"Do you offer printing services?"

Yes, RJO Photo offers a wide variety of prints, banners, cards, flyers, and just about everything else available on the market today.

If you are not purchasing a commercial copyright release, the copyright stays with the photographer. Now this does not mean you can't post the media on your websites and portfolios! You have a Public Display Right which means you have every right to display the photos on the web or display the prints wherever you want as long as it's not for commercial use. (For more info on Public Display Right, see section 6 of this page.)

If you are purchasing a commercial copyright release, it is not necessary to purchase your print items through me. But with my experience in working with various printing labs and CMYK color fidelity, I can offer you the highest image quality you can find anywhere if you choose to use my printing services.

SHOOT DETAILS

"Where are you located?"

I'm in Oak Park, about 9 miles directly west of the Loop in Chicago, easily accessible from 290, the Metra, or the El.

Search Google Maps for directions or see the map below.

"How long will it take to receive my content?"

Emailed Proofs: same day
Retouching: 1-2 weeks ($10 per photo rush fee)
Business Card Design & Printing: 2 weeks ($20 per order rush fee)
Logo Design: 1-2 weeks
Prints: 1 week ($20 per order rush fee)
Video Editing: varies depending upon project

"What does the copyright release include?"

Your copyright release can be tailored to suit your needs, but generally it states that all content created during our shoot or modified afterwards becomes your intellectual property. You are the owner and you can use it however, wherever, whenever, and for however long you wish.

Usually I include an optional clause that states that I can display your content on my online portfolios. But this can also be removed from your release if you desire complete privacy.

The release and transfer of copyright ownership is included in my commercial rates above.

"Are you insured?"

Yes, RJO Photo is fully covered with a commercial insurance policy against liability and damage. The reason I include this information in my FAQ is that often certain venues require a photographer or videographer to have liability coverage in order for them to shoot on the premises.
